About Amy Peterson

Amy Peterson brings over eighteen years of experience in the Aesthetic arena. After training at the Von Lee International School of Aesthetics outside of DC, she relocated to Seattle, where she worked for eight years as the director of the laser and skincare division for a world-renowned plastic surgeon. This was the beginning of a long and successful career highly focused on advanced education and innovation. She quickly became a Clinical Educator for Merz Aesthetics, training other offices around the country on Ulthera in addition to Solta Medical, working with medical devices including Fraxel & Clear and Brilliant.  She is also a consultant for new devices coming soon to the market. Advanced Education has always been, and continues to be, Amy’s guiding light. 

In 2013, Amy moved to Miami with a mission and a dream. She aspired to create a practice that redefines luxury skincare. Her goal was to build a clinic that exudes warmth, spearheads innovation and promotes practitioner and client education. With  years of training and expertise combined with her passion for innovation, Amy opened her doors at Skincare by Amy Peterson in 2020. Since then, she has successfully achieved in helping her clients reveal the most healthy version of their skin, cementing her practice as the gold standard in results-driven, skincare solutions.

Today, Amy Peterson is popularly known as the "Skin Savant”, and she considers every client a VIP that steps into her practice. Turning her dreams into reality, she customizes advanced skincare techniques to transform her clients skin. Best known as the founder and owner of Skincare by Amy Peterson, and The Real Skin Savant, she is recognized for her commitment to education, both for practitioners and clients. Most recently, her contributions have been recognized with her role as a NewBeauty Brain Trust advisor for NewBeauty Magazine. She maintains  to be a key opinion Leader for multiple  aesthetic devices used in her practice, anchoring her clinic as one of the most innovative in the country. Her leadership in skin solutions and dedication to innovation and highly tailored services has established her as one of the industry’s standout figures in medical aesthetics and education.
